However, the integrity of the scientific record remains our absolute priority. We maintain a strict, impenetrable firewall between our commercial operations and our scientific editorial board.

To comply with the guidelines established by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), Medfolium strictly enforces the following ethical advertising standards:

  • Zero Editorial Influence: Advertisers possess no influence over manuscript acceptance, peer review, or clinical scheduling. Advertising space is sold independently of the clinical content published on the platform.
  • Clear Delineation: All commercial placements are explicitly labeled as “Advertisement” or “Sponsored.” Native advertising designed to mimic peer-reviewed research is strictly prohibited.
  • Content Restrictions: Medfolium will not accept advertising for unproven therapeutic claims, tobacco products, or medical devices lacking appropriate regional regulatory approval. We reserve the right to reject any campaign that conflicts with our institutional values.
